Blackberry Cream Cheese Cookies

Delicious moist cookies with blackberry.

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 oz. reduced fat cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 egg yolk (large)
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup Polaner┬« Seedless Blackberry Spreadable Fruit
  • 2 tsp. sugar substitute


Preheat oven to 350┬░F. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Beat margarine, cream cheese, vanilla and sugar in a bowl until fluffy. Mix in flour and salt until a soft dough is formed. Cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough 1/8-inch thick; with a cookie cutter cut into 3-inch rounds. Place 1/4 tsp. of preserves in center; fold in half and crimp edges. With a sharp knife pierce top of each cookie. Bake until lightly browned, about 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 2 dozen.
