Cream Cheese Puffs Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 box frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 – 1 ¼ C. Polaner® Verry Berry Raspberry Fruit Spread
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. water
- Sprinkles or turbinado sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, cut two puff pastry sheets into 9 pieces each.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until well blended.
- Divide the mixture among 9 pieces of pastry, keeping it away from the edges.
- Top the cream cheese with 2 teaspoons of fruit spread.
- Wet the edges of the pastries (using your finger dipped in water is the easiest).
- Top each with the remaining 9 pieces and press to seal.
- Prick the top of each pastry 3-4 times with a fork.
- Whisk the egg and water together and brush over the top of each pastry.
- Top with sprinkles or turbinado sugar.
- Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffy.
