Strawberry Panna Cotta Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin (0.25 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 2 C. heavy cream
- 1 C. whole milk
- ½ C. Polaner® Verry Berry Strawberry Fruit Spread
- 1 ½ tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
- Food coloring, optional
Optional Toppings:
- Whipped cream
- Toasted almonds
- Chocolate shavings or chocolate syrup
- Fresh strawberries
Directions
- In a small, microwave-safe bowl, mix the gelatin and water until all the gelatin has been moistened; set aside.
- In a saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, milk and fruit spread.
- Turn heat on med-low and whisk gently until the mixture just starts to simmer.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and food coloring (if using).
- Microwave the gelatin mixture for 10-15 seconds or until it returns to a liquid.
- Pour into the cream mixture and whisk to combine.
- Pour the mixture into 4-6 ramekins or serving dishes.
- Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Once set, garnish as desired.
Tips
*If desired, dip the bottoms of the ramekins in hot water for a few seconds then invert onto a plate to remove the panna cotta from the dish.
