Strawberry Panna Cotta Recipe

Ingredients

 

Optional Toppings:

  • Whipped cream
  • Toasted almonds
  • Chocolate shavings or chocolate syrup
  • Fresh strawberries

Directions

  1. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, mix the gelatin and water until all the gelatin has been moistened; set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, milk and fruit spread.
  3. Turn heat on med-low and whisk gently until the mixture just starts to simmer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and food coloring (if using).
  5. Microwave the gelatin mixture for 10-15 seconds or until it returns to a liquid.
  6. Pour into the cream mixture and whisk to combine.
  7. Pour the mixture into 4-6 ramekins or serving dishes.
  8. Refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
  9. Once set, garnish as desired.

 

Tips

*If desired, dip the bottoms of the ramekins in hot water for a few seconds then invert onto a plate to remove the panna cotta from the dish.
